"The company said it expected first-half pre-tax earnings to range between $3-$4 million, down close to 80 per cent from the previous corresponding period. Last financial year, Funtastic reported $14.75 million in pre-tax earnings in the first half."

If FUN pays a dividend, it doesn't have to pay .005c like last half. It could pay .001c and still have a decent yield. Some corporate cutting could help, too- 7 Directors in this company. Also, giving out in the money options to Directors is never popular.

I reckon FUN had the same view as lat year in raising further capital beyond the usual capacity to pay down debt more and maybe buy a new product, but that plan did not get up- no new capacity to raise money. They'll just have to trade through.
