One measure of communication competence relates to the number of ASX announcements made.

In calendar 2013, BLT made102 announcements. Not many companies would match this level.

In January this year the company made eight announcements - two a week.

In January last year the company made nine.

In February just gone the company made 10 announcements. Last Feb it made 6.

In March last year it made 11.

On this basis we could expect announcements at the rate of at least two a week this month.

I'm believe that senior management should be busy managing rather than mulling over the form and content of endless PR releases.

Overall, I'm more than satisfied with BLT's communication performance.
