What has China or India got to do with the question of whether the world is overpopulated or not? They are both surviving (and with improving living standards) despite large populations.They have large cities but lots of rural land too with much lower population densities.


Actually, they both are evidence that we are not the so-called blight on the Earth, if they can survive and thrive, then what does that say about the rest of the world with much lower population densities?

And do stop talking about what is enlightened, it is far from settled who is "enlightened" and who isn't.
