    A. Continue with honours degree, try to do it we'll.
    B. if you get a good honours grade, apply for postgrad scholarship and pursue higher education. (For A&B, education is the best investment in an individual life, its returns, monetary or not, will surprise you.)
    C. If failing to get postgrad scholarship and circumstances do not allow further education, or after completion of A&B, try to get a public service job, preferably in Canberra where you can enjoy your chosen lifestyle while being able to fulfil your duties as a public servant at a small fraction of the time you are paid for and get the satisfaction of being useful to the system and the society around you. I know corporate people get paid heap more than bureaucrats but they are squeezed to the bone to make only a small number of wealthy business people wealthier. Beside the public service generous superannuation system, you can open an additional super account for your retirement when you can do nothing and receive the same income without being a burden on government budget.
Be warned that with your qualifications now and then, you can enter the public service easily. The higher the qualifications you possess the less time you need to finish your task in the public service, (but just take it easy Stefan, enjoy that while you are in it). The system is slow and changes are very sluggish. If too much spare time is bothering, you can organise work footy tipping, Friday bar, fund raising, social club activities...which are very important for promotion. If you have special skills beside your formal qualifications, you can start your own business beside your public service job to gain extra income for your lifestyle.
Public service provides a rewarding career as long as you are willing to adapt to its culture and you are not scared when seeing your brain dropping on the floor bit by bit day after day at work in a huge slow moving system.
