Go in the water..take your chances….been diving, and snorkelling, for over forty years all over the planet. Seen plenty of sharks - no great whites though….yet. Tigers have seen…big ones…..Yet to be bitten'/eaten...…did get some unwanted attention from a few decent size white-tips close enough to touch... for reasons known only to them - although I suspect it was the electronic beeps from my watch to remind me how long I'd been cruising….
Sharks are part of the scenery….just like bears, lions, tigers, and other predators….If I ever got eaten - I'd think bad luck….same for anyone else venturing in their domain. It's their ocean….we're just visiting….
