Rebel you guys never cease to amaze me how you have no problems easily displaying your illogical and gullible minds.
First of all no one other than conspiracy theory nutters are saying Bin Laden directed the events of the day from a cave. No one other than conspiracy theory nutters are saying Bin Laden lived in a cave.
Now to the real world. Sept 11 was a stand alone operation. In other words no one needed, it's clear as day no one needed to command and direct the events of the day from any type of base. Already pre planned, just needed the leaders of the groups to carry out the steps. What flights to catch and what target to hit etc. Cannot believe that needs to be explained??
Secondly Bin Laden lived in a complex in Afghanistan and cleared out when things started heating up. It's not inconceivable caves where used as a tempory hideout when exiting the country but as for living in them or using them as a command CTR is only for the truly gullible to believe.
You can have all the resources in the world but if your not putting them in the right places then that's exactly where the enemy will exploit. The genius of the plan was its simplisity. If you are on a plane and a group of terrorists hijack it, state there is a bomb on board and they are flying to the nearest airport your hardly going to take them on are you. Post 9/11 you would take them on because you know its highly probable the plane is going to be used as a missile, but pre 9/11 no terrorists ever used that tactic before.
.... and how on earth is being able to place a missile through someone's door relevant to finding a certain individual. 2 completely different realms!!
