gpeters2 - Thank you for your reply.

I simply believe you're possibly reading too much, too soon, into the initial Ph2 results.

As I do appreciate you are well aware, every medical treatment [well, the VAST majority] at the Ph2 stage, are primarily about indicating SAFETY and possibly evidence of desired ACTION. MSC's did both this, rather well, at the "modest" levels they were used in the Ph2. Obviously, perhaps larger dosing or more likely, repeat dosing - something already shown to be safe with MSC's - is going to be the way forward. This has already, in fact, being publicly flagged by MSB as the most likely treatment method for T2D, ie, an annual cell "injection". [obviously, this is the stuff of a larger Ph3]

Beyond these rather obvious points, there's really no negatives to it. Why would mankind not pursue, with a degree of determination, a pathway that could rid the world of an otherwise chronic condition [debatable in itself?] over the next 5-10yrs!

Yes, I do fully accept that there are also some very exciting additional treatments appearing over the horizon. My interest being, that the ability to address T2D will be able to free up considerable health care expenditure for other pressing issues.

Surely we can agree - let's do it?
