er6, the platts index is set on 1 or 2 cargoes per day - it's prone to overshoot. Thanks for the table, but if you're gonna use the FOB sale price, then you'll need to subtract the freight from the cost basis. Indeed, you showed the import/export versus consensus on Sunday... but then I told you to have a look at the combined Jan/Feb data and compare that to analyst consensus. Since, you've dissected it already, why not tell us what the imports of IO were like... and tell us what the exports of steel were like?

Bravo. I don't trade AGO shares. And I sure as hell am not going to short sell a company when they're running at 10% ROE, with half the assets in the books idled and trading at a 50% discount to NTA... it's a recipe for disaster.
