    I use macquarie for shorting stock.

    CFDs are rubbish instruments... the reality of CFDs is that people trading them are getting fleeced and running away from them in droves. According to the ASX, about 3 years ago, 700k contracts were traded per day... these days, it's a miracle if it gets over 100k on a given day... ie. CFDs are a losers game.
