I am perfectly entitled to have an opinion, even if I don't vote. I believe that both the major parties have sold this country out re there policies on free trade etc. I don't believe you can compete against labour that gets paid 25c/hr (Or whatever they get paid in China and India) without lowering your own standard of living. Downers office put out a report last year which recommended that Australian Bussiness would be better off sending all their IT bussiness to india as it is cheaper there. How can I vote for that. As far as policies that matter to the average australian eg jobs, both the major parties have sold out.There is not a job that can be done in australia that can not be done cheaper in the Third World. Where will it stop. Maybe we should hire a few Chinamen and Indians to run the country they would do it for 25 grand and require no special super or gold card after leaving the job.
