when will the short covering start, page-26

I had a look at the daily ASX short sales in which I notice SLR's is consistently reporting some 2 - 3 million new short sales per day if I am reading these reports correctly. This represents some 10-20% of daily turnover rate.

This seems to be December happening again where the stock got to 35 cents and then very quickly doubled to over 70cents (presumingly short covering). The same will happen again, the question is from what level. Yes fundamentals have changed. The shutdown of Murchinson I feel is ultimately positive. Maybe the negatives hopefully relatively minor is management style, SLR a single mine producer and no longer an ASX 200 participant. This I don't think justifies a bargain basement price of 45cents.
I am slowly buying more at 52.5(bought), 42.5 and 35c after luckily selling some at 70c and 62c a week or two ago.

I think now a short and long term buy although I know this is a bit like catching a falling knife !!! DYOR
