btw SAMPOIL, clearly you have expertise in the O&G industry. So I went through all your posts to see what you are buying. Turns out for every post you have a "no position". Then it was interesting when I came across a post from you on Buru.. after months of having "no position", you write "this one lost me thousands". I wouldnt be surprised if you hold PVD for the morocco spud (which you think is worth holding for). Clearly you are very conservative but why not properly disclose your position?

In my opinion, whether you get an Ophir/ Cairn or a Conocophillips to free carry us for Gabon - its indifferent. Both partners are big (obviously Conoco is far bigger) and have the fire power and expertise to drill. With the amount of speculation and already proven discoveries around Gabon, I would be very surprised if there wasnt a deal.

I have no experience in O&G geology etc.. but at the end of the day, even the best geos are having a punt. Its all a mugs game.
