Just rang Halls Creek Council to get an update on the Sturt crossing. It is completely washed out and they don't expect it to be passable by any traffic for at least three weeks.
Not good news at all.
I'd say it is largely due to the wet weather that management are not providing any updates.
Obviously the bad weather sets the project back significantly in that no ground work can be done if they can't get plant in.
I still think they will be doing plenty of planning and other preparation in the meantime.
Hopefully the GIC and update on ML will be released soon. Realistically, we still have until just before 5pm Sydney time to release any price sensitive information which Darren plans on presenting on Monday.
