You keep going on about the zinc price but miss the big picture. Do BTR own a zinc mine or share of, because any reference to zinc is irrelevant. BTR still owe Glencore 9mill.
So you can discount future cash flow, but what is Perkoa worth with open pit on care and maintance? Glencore have this over a barrel. What is the message they sent out, no new green fields investment. So milk Perkoa for all its worth to get the greatest pofit share, as it is producing, write off Kitumba as it is too deep, so no take over BTR.
Glencore are not a charity, they have re ajusted their investment goals as dictated by head office, rightly or wrongly, but that is management.
