3. Don't buy more than you can afford to lose; there is no such thing as a sure thing.

And I'm not trying to be negative in any way here with that comment, I truly believe the company has a very good chance of very big success, but I'm certainly not going to invest beyond what I'm happy to walk away from if the worst somehow happens. But then fortunately if things play out as hoped then you certainly don't need to invest a relatively ridiculous amount in order to be handsomely reworded, and then some; unless of course you let greed take over.
