As far as I know the hot granites are only located under the Napamerri Trough. There is nothing like that under the Weena Trough where STX's two wells were drilled.
In contrary, I gave you the data (Post #: 10190048) with graphics for Tinga Tingana1 well which was drilled just a few km away from STX's wells long time ago. The data is certain there and it tells that the formations down to the bottom of Patchawarra formation (including the coals at the bottom) is immature for generating hydrocarbons. If you think that one of the most important factors related to the maturity is temperature, how could we consider that the coals would be in the mature area?
