MarkieM: the 50/50 condition is for loans over an $80m limit for new debts incurred as I read it; have a look at the annual report where the details are spelt out.
Cafa and others; yes, Mt K don't have to convert. But previously a big chunk of the deal for them was the option to convert on what appeared at the time to be very favourable terms.
