Conventional airport screening is woefully inadequate,only full Xray body scanners will suffice in months and years to come.Extremely sharp ceramic knives are now available in many stores throughout the world and they do not trigger any alarm when carried through a normal security check.I recently bought two (a 4 inch fruit knife and a larger 10 inch one)and whilst they are fantastic in the kitchen after running a magnet over them I know there is no metal in the handle shaft.We also walked them through a hand held wand style detector at a security checkpoint of a 5 star hotel recently and they were not detected(coins in my pocket were)
One might reasonably conclude that if this plane is sitting concealed somewhere unless whoever has it is able to locate and remove any sensors which Boeing has in the engines then the next time those engines are started someone is going to know immediately.I don't think the collective governments of the world are going to allow this plane to be airborne very long if someone tries to fly it somewhere.
