re: roc announcement/ production cappy, I agree with you. There is little faith from me in Mauritania after so many dusters. WPL put the mockers on the region about 18 months back when they announced they had 'unlocked the secret of the basin' or some such dribble words. They seem to have no real idea where to drill a commercial find nowdays, just stabbing away. Their infatuation for cretaceous plays and multiple plays doesn't help.

The only good news of a drilling hiatus is that we'll be able to say good riddance to the Stena Tay, hope the dog never returns. I wish they'd bring back the cheaper drill rigs that actually found something tangible - for that matter bring back Ted too, at least he could strike deals and keep shareholders informed.
