IF, and I reckon it is a big 'if' the pilot had been practising anything to do with this I reckon it would have been landing on 'not' airstrips.
Every bugger is looking in the ocean or for airstrips where you could park a pinched big plane ---------- no bugger is looking for where you can land a plane and hide it - without there being an airstrip nearby.
I know Aus. is a big place, but I can think of half a dozen places you could put down a big passenger jet and there isn't an airstrip within cooee.
After all, it's just a plane - just a tad bigger than most.
noone knows at this stage - or at least if someone other than the people on the plane know then it is a well kept secret.
