the pilot and copilot are in it together - they have paid someone to roster them together - easy. We could be talking large amounts of money here - enough to buy most people.
no, they don't have to kill anyone at all.
Almost everyone is assuming the plane went to 45k feet and back to whatever it was - 23k from memory.
It may not have.
That is only what has been indicated. Someone said the technology that sends this information goes haywire often just before it gives up the ghost and gives false readings.
That could be so - it also could be so that a false reading was purposefully given.
Technology can be bought - cheaply. If this cargo was very valuable and very liquid (ie. gold) and worth say half a billion bucks ------------ buying the odd favour and a bit of technology would be a very cheap setup.
This is a very doable crime - and very doable leaving everyone alive and well.
In fact, it is so doable, I have to say I am surprised it hasn't been done before.
