Im not an accountant, but i dont think inolvency prior to 2 April is an issue. They had 10M in the bank at 31 Dec and the financing deal isnt due until 2 April. They wouldnt go insolvent when they can sell assets or recapitalise through finance or cap raise.

I dont think they will drop the suspension. I think they would risk it trading when they have already announced that something big sill or has to happen by 2 April. Longtom aside they would probably been in a halt pending an outcome.

From the Sedco release, i am convinced they have made a sale and given the lack of priority from a strategic perspective that Sedco is (should we carry on as nexus) my guess is whole of company. Reading between the lines it jumps out.

Then again, who knows. Two weeks to go.
