Haven't changed my mind much - Al-Qaeda and Uighur militant operation (both would gain from a successful operation). Many dead Chinese…and some significant destruction to a Western base of operations against the enemies in the Middle East region….Getting a lot of coverage…. AQ might confess at some stage….the Uighur's probably staying quiet….to avoid repercussions…The aircraft...didn't make it to DG (far as we know) - but I think the wreckage will be found somewhere along the way….eventually…
Anyone that can read would know what comms systems are on board, what they do - and what information they transmit, and what they can coerce the crew to shut down….Not hard…grab a hostie, or maybe a passenger..…de-brain….wouldn't take more than one or two splatters on the cockpit walls to get the crew focused…
