I trade the pair, yes a bit of late. It no doubt has some correlation with stock indices but I'm not that interested in that and don't consciously use the par as an indicator for stock indices.

So just because the probability of a big bullish engulfing candle on the pair (the session isn't over yet) doesn't say to me that there is a better chance indices go to new highs from here.

I'm trading the 2 independant of each other.
