Scuse if this sounds too simple but I can`t help wondering how, after 2 days at sea and then a week in the hold of a navy vessel, do their phones have enough charge left for such lengthy videos! Are they really their own "standard" mobile phones or? Maybe they have them switched off other than when they are filming?
