I have studied several styles of Martial Arts/Fighting Arts for over 30 years. I have also worked in the Security Industry.
I agree that walking away is plan A and I have successfully employed plan A as recently as a couple of weeks ago.
Sometimes, however, you have no choice. You cannot walk away.
What then?
Each to their own. But I live by the following code: It's better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6.
