I understand the company met with quite a few institutions and high net worth investors in NZ today and has a nearly a full week of meetings with investors in Asia next week. They have been busy getting the company in good shape over recent months and now they are promoting it as all the pieces are falling into place. The Kiwis must have liked what they heard today! The appointments in Asia have been set up by Lamboo's 19% owner and cornerstone investor, Och Ziff, who are one of the world's biggest fund managers, I understand - not a bad friend to have!!
Another reason the stock might be strong is that the well regarded newsletter called Minelife released another favourable note on the stock this morning. I can't wait for tomorrow
