Dan and SJL in the full video did you see any blinkers on that taxi and what is your opinion on what you do when you see a taxi flashing it's blinkers? Am I mistaken that I see blinkers flash?
Do you have a link to the full video? All I can find is the video in the Age article, and I can't see the indicators blinking. Brake lights are on, yes; but the indicators, no - and I've looked at the appropriate segment of the video several times.
Certainly, if I were on a bike and I saw indicators going, I'd be hanging back behind the vehicle until I knew what it was doing.
It is not always about the law unless you are in it to make a point or a claim.
Indeed. Which is why I always ride well out of the "door zone"; with the benefit of hindsight, I could have ridden right next door to all the parked cars and never had a problem - but that doesn't make it a safe thing to do.
As for the rest, no, I haven't watched her being interviewed. People can want to remain relatively anonymous for any number of valid reasons; I prefer to not judge them on that unless their reasons are made clear.
