@bishi3 - Sorry to intrude. I think I have the answer if you are talking about drugs. Just my understanding though, GC would tell you more.
The use of M&G is already being investigated by Huey W. O. to bind drugs to polymer surfaces/nanoparticles. So give it some years, and if her research and ?others? proves succesful, you would imagine that M&G would be tested by the FDA for safety.
The good thing about this surface-coating technology is that M&G is one of a very large number of potential formulations that could all be used as alternative glues to M&G. If FDA trials fail for one glue, the scientists can use these alternative formulations until they find one that is safe for use in humans. Odds of sucess are looking pretty good from my angle, I've been thinking about similar applications for a while.
