strange transactions, page-5

Interesting Observation Dream Weaver. Sudden large parcels after hours is not too unusual. To me could be just moving holdings from one Superfund to another or institution to another etc. What however is interesting is the fact that there was significant last minute price spike in a number of gold companies post 4pm. This is unusual to me!!! I note the POG is higher tonight but something else is going on here.
Could be something to do with last day before ASX200 index changes and hence portfolio rebalancing by big players and nothing more then that. I think there could be more to it then simply index rebalancing.
