I wonder if you have ever been to Denmark, Sweden and Japan the countries you mentioned as examples?

If you do you might notice the deep Lutheran faith of many people in Denmark and the central and prominant, historical location of the Lutheran Churches in the many cities and towns across the country...

I wonder if you have ever been in Japan during the Obon Festival or any of the other many religious and semi-religious festivals throughout the year that currently bind the communities together and have done throughout their history...

Secular does not mean a lack of religion, merely that religion is not incorporated into and is kept separate from state institutions and apparatus...

Youngsters finding themselves too distracted by their iPhones, video games and shoot-em-up movies for a portion of their young lives to notice the bedrock of religion in their communities and failing to understand the significance is not any form of rebuttal and neither is that many countries are secular in that there is a seperation between the operation of government and one religion...

    My remark still stands:
"It might be an interesting and educational experience for you to do some historical research into the list of communities throughout history that have prospered and grown with a strong declaration and belief system of no religion, no superior-being and no idols, holy scriptures and holy ceremonies... "
