But they didn't sell out either. Did they !!!

They might just be waiting to see if someone else will make the move and then ask what they want in return for their shares, or just sitting it out until better times will come around.

Nevertheless, if someone was going to make any moves on them, they would hold a good blocking stake into it.

Many companies are doing that in order to secure themselves that no one will make the move before they are ready. And they will always have a big say on proceedings as well.
