What was in the Cargo Hull ?

Nothing is being said about the Cargo the plane was carrying

Why is that ?

Was the plane robbed over the water Cargo dropped of to a waiting ship

If the decompression was slow enough, the pilots would not have realised it and would have been unable to put on their oxygen masks in time. It is also noted that the flight was a "red-eye" meaning many passengers would have been trying to sleep, therefore making the affects of oxygen deprivation less obvious.

What if the robbers then decompressed the plane until everyone was unconscious (whilst wearing oxygen mask with a oxygen tank on there backs )

Then parachuted from the plane with an inflatable raft to be picked up by waiting speed boats

Leaving the Plane to fly until it run out of fuel

So what was in the Cargo Hull ?

Gold ? Currency ?
