Asked my friend again and he confirms he's read it through and there is no such unconditional item? Either he's got it wrong, or there really isn't. Given we both work in the professional services industry I trust he's qualified enough to not get that wrong (or else I'd be concerned! hah).

So apparently only the deposit is at risk?

I wouldn't mind discussing with a finbar agent, but would love to get onto the mailing list for pre-launch info etc, friend got on there and hence got first dibs wih his apartment.
