If such disasters befall us then you can count on it that there will be a stock market rout , banking rout, confiscation or loss of savings. Nothing would be immune. Grantham is a known doom merchant and you have to wonder why this endless garbage is not posted on every share site. Grantham is pissed off that the Fed is not going to give him a free ride anymore. There they would be shown no mercy and would get howled off the sites. Only on property do we get this anomaly where they assuage their fear by getting upticks for this economic claptrap rather than property discussion.
