TIX had a massive trade yesterday. Today we learn that 2\3 of TIX share buyback funds were used in that trade.
An ideas about when happened? Was the trade known when TIX announced the share buyback plan? Maybe an early holder getting out after collecting one more distribution, so TIX agreed to do minimize disruption through a share buyback? Or was the other party 360 Capital, needing cash for its new fund?
Apologies in advance if I'm off base on these guesses, but I've owned shares during enough share buybacks to think this is highly unusual.
