Thank-you for your comment. Where do you reckon my "considering" or reasoning is wrong?
I have had short positions with margins but never with a stock that has ceased trading!
Have you ever had a short position open when a stock ceased trading? If you have what happened? Was what happened dependent on your brokers terms and conditions?
I would be interested in your reasoning or experience of the risks or lack of risk faced by retail shorters in this situation.
