I do think the lack of Tanzi tweets has un-nerved many. I have pondered this at length have and come down firmly on the side of 'no inference as to the likely results can be drawn from this'.

The lead up to the HD results were plagued by a tremendous degree of negative nonesense. Tanzi was irritated by this and was able to respond, as is his penchant, with a series of pithy aphorisms. Unfortunately this led to some less than dignified (for a person of his standing) engagement with some of his rather ordinary detractors.

I think it is reasonable to conclude that it was agreed (perhaps mutually) between the board and himself that that situation would not occur again. In my opinion it has no relevance to the forthcoming results.
