It's the conspiracy theorists, any wild sensationalised story of events will do, crazier the better, doesn't have to be factual. If it's dismissed with facts they just move on to the next wild theory.
I've already read that the 777 was stolen because it was loaded with billions in gold which would equate to over 100 tons in cargo weight, over seven times the 777 actual maximum capacity.
Of course those kind of obvious facts don't deter the conspiracy theorists.
