We have to make allowances. Almost, - if not all, - of the labor front bench live in a world where there is no need for budgeting. They have no basic concept of the need to generate wealth to generate tax revenue. Its very hard for those of us who have had to work hard for every cent, - to get our heads around the concept.
I do understand. Just think what it would be like, if when you got up today you did not have to think about bills, cash flow, employees, their problems, your problems, rules and regulations, traffic, etc ad nauseum. All you have to think about is how can I win a cheap shot point against the government. Lying is fine. Integrity, honesty and all that stuff is for wimps.
Well, that's how it is with labor. Its a bit ironic that the worker's party knows absolutely zilch about workers, their problems and issues. Selfish is in.
The opposition are irrelevant really, just a noisy useless distracting rabble. If they got the ball they would not know what to do with it. True.
