John, while you wait for that break of downtrend you've already missed a 63c bounce off the low. Sometimes you just have to use a bit of common sense and not have to rely on technical indicators to tell you a stock has made some sort of bottom, at least a short term tradable one. And if that wasn't enough the 4:1 buy/sell ratio would surely be a dead give away.
