    Horse before the cart mate, the truly wealthy didn't get there buying property, they bought it once they made it. Yet another myth busted.

    Nobody that wants to make a fortune would borrow money for the return property currently offers, even at emergency rates.

    Residential property is now performing worse than cash, and to add insult to injury, a pain in the backside to manage. So much for being a "safe haven".
