austephen, it appears you are ahead of me and have more insight. On 25/3 the overall level of shorts closed at 7.91% so as you have stated the shorts were indeed covering.
It has touched this level around 3 times in the last 4 months and always rebounded upwards. I hope this is the beginning of a sustained decrease.
Fundamentally I like PDN. People are valuing this as solely as a producer seeming to forget that it has more pounds in the ground that most other U companies.
