    It sure looks like the POG is pretty dead for now, and perhaps the next 3-4 months.

    I was expecting a bounce back towards USD1320, but it is not happening and perhaps it will not.

    I can not see it just hanging out around the current level until mid year. Unless there some sort of catalyst to drive it higher (eg favourable Indian election results), the POG is likely to drift lower. A negative for gold could could from financial instability in China that lowers economic and income growth. Plus there is always the chance that "sell in May and go away" will happen in the US market this year and drive all shares down (including goldies).

    How low is anybody's guess.

    USD1050 anybody? If yes then were is SLR going to be (and all the other goldies)?
