POG hit 1277.7 last night. Gold stocks seem to be just buying time here. GDX and HUI somehow managed small gains last night despite gold drifting closer again to the 1260-1275 support zone. Maybe 1277.7 was close enough and we see a bounce from here. Maybe we test within the zone or even break it but with the overseas gold producers indexes holding their lows from 4 days ago while gold has drifted lower it seems holders of gold stocks are factoring in that gold has very little downside left. A bounce might be imminent.

MML has completed the quarter with no recent operational problems since the small rain delay in January. Commissioning appears to have advanced very well with the ramp up progressing very well early in the qtr. That should give us a strong qtr report to look forward to.
DB has upgraded many gold stocks this morning which may give the sector a boost today.
MML,SLR,SBM,EVN, all raised to hold from sell. RRL raised from hold to buy.
