sad that this colossal tragedy has to be made the subject of crude and gross jokes -
the families, bereaved we believe, would not think this so funny.
Nor did I, when an aquaintance friend commented - thinking it hilarious - about the Ocean search search - "the sharks would have had a good feed!"
Haven't spoken to him since. Now will I, probably, ever again. Disgusting, so called "humor".
As with the road toll, etc. - I think, as a so-called "caring" society - we've all becoming hugely de-sensitised to others' suffering - and totally self-obsessed. With a cynical "I'm alright Jack" mentality.
Ugly. Ugly. Ugly. Most cynics find things funny - as long as their so-called "wit" doesn't relate to matters which affect them -or theirs.
Here we go again - people's egos (I'll be the funniest) - take precedence - over human dignity - and compassion.
If one of their own was on this flight - don't think they'd be laughing.
