and made it clear that all fools who go in the army to learn how to kill people should have to pay for the privilege

food on top of mountain in enemy terrain $150

food in foxhole in middle of winter $40000
food in hospital free under DVA
food when dead free to widow
bunk $40 per night
sarge $50/hour(instructor)
sarg major $150/hour
Learning how to kill with a gun $400
learning how to kill with a knife $500
learning to kill with one punch $1000
learninig to kill with secret squirrel grip $4


the HECS can be repaid when you go and get real job

that adds something (rather than just kills people)

to the economy and value of society

If you die in combat then your parents who obviously did a crap job at bringing you up can pay for it

PS i am a happy to make it compulsory for everyone over the age of 70 who doesnt have a job...bludgers!
