WA in political terms is a SMALL state. It has ONLY 18 House of Representatives.

There won't be any changes to the GST carve up in favor of WA under the Abbott government. Abbott needs the votes in NSW, Victoria, and Qld to win government. There will be mass revolt by Australians in the eastern states if Tony Abbott succumb to the tiny WA Liberals demands.

The major parties can win government by winning a majority of seats in the eastern states.

You better get used to this reality.
