I trade with CMC. Indices. Hold for no longer than one hour. Sometimes they give you bargains, like SP500 might have gone up 0.70% overnight, but CMC opens the ASX200 at 1%, so you know it's almost certain to go down. But I also see what appears to be stop hunting especially at 9.50am. The US might be down 0.70% and they'll have a quick flash down to 1% to catch a stop entry and its stop loss - all gone in 5 seconds! So you've got to learn to play their game.
