re: Ann: MUX: MUX enters into binding Term Sh... I think the answer re: viability and attractiveness of the project is no more complex than our first thoughts and like the PFS suggest. In it's current state, there's nothing overly appealing to entice and investor in. However, retrospectively, it suddenly becomes a smart purchase if, 1) they use cash reserves to successfully increase the project ounces and/or, 2) POG recovers in a meaningful and sustained manner to naturally re-rate all gold stocks.
I'm still heavily reminded of the similarities to MYG's Deflector deposit. Unfortunately, despite an apparently sound BFS, a resource open along strike and at depth, contracts awarded for camp site and ordering of ball mill... well, the numbers just weren't there.
Not wanting to sound pessissmistic and I'll continue to follow developments; I'm just cautious of Australian based, precious metal stocks, as their position on the cost curve tends to make it difficult to thrive in a range of conditions. An AUD that refuses to fall also isn't helping the cause, as Oz Goldie's are missing out on what would otherwise be a substantial cushion.
